The Timebank has always offered the opportunity to do exchanges virtually. During the COVID-19 pandemic, timebankers are encouraged to do exchanges virtually and/or by follow the recommendations of their county and/or city regarding masking, social distancing, and hand-sanitizing and any other recommendations. The Timebank has suspended its in-person potluck until further notice.
California Fires, Flooding, and Earthquakes
The Timebank is available in 12 counties around the San Francisco Bay Area, California. Some of these counties have seasonal fires and flooding. The Timebank staff encourage timebankers living in those areas to reach out in before/after such crises for assistance from other timebank members.
