Tuesday Tip: How to Time Bank in 3 Steps

After creating a time account at BACE (all you need is an email address and name/nickname), there are just three easy steps to follow to begin meeting your needs.  For example, suppose you joined because you need help with pet care:

Step 1:  Log into your time account. (Go to www.sfbace.org, click Timebank Now!, and Sign In)

Step 2. Click on OFFERS tab to see if anyone is offering pet care. If so, click on the offer and start the conversation.

Step 3. Click on REQUESTS tab and make a request for pet care. Over the next 14 days, return to your home dashboard to view YOUR REQUESTS to see if anyone has bid on your request. Accept bids you want and start a conversation by direct messaging (DM). Tip: Be aware that some bids expire quicker than others.

Easy as 1-2-3! 

Tip:  If you do Steps 2 and 3, you are more likely to get help for pet care than if you do only Step 2 or only Step 3.

Tip: Time bankers are super busy, so patience is key if you want to exchange services for time currency.
